Because One Matters: Wrapped in Love – Clothing Closet Pop Up Shop

We are excited to announce the launch of our foster care closet.  The Wrapped in Love (WIL) Foster Care Closet will allow foster parents (in Gwinnett & Walton County) the ability to shop for free for new and gently used clothing items.

We are excited about this program, as we are committed to helping these children with items that will help them in their new norm.  The goal is to provide a foster child with the gift of hope for a better future and show them that their community supports and loves them.

The Because One Matters WIL foster care clothing closet will launch with a pop-up shop on Saturday, August 27th, from 12 pm-4 pm at Snellville Performing Arts and Main Street Theater. The launch party will include entertainment for children, including music, face painting, and Kona Ice, while parents shop for free clothing items for their children.

Volunteers will help in various capacity such as (1) helping parents/children shop for clothing items (find sizes, etc) (2) entertain children by playing (provided) games, escorting them to get Kona Ice, participate in planned activities, like dance off, etc.
