Georgia Latino Film Alliance and Festival

September 29, 2022 @ 9:00 pm - October 3, 2022 @ 1:00 am

Volunteers are fundamental to GALFF’s success. We depend on your skills and commitment to bring to our audience the wide range of programming we are known for.

Georgia Latino Film festival needs hundreds of outgoing and enthusiastic volunteers every year for both the GALFF and our GALFA year-round programs.  Volunteering for GALFF is about helping a wonderful selection of films and artists to share their stories here in Georgia.  However, the real benefits of volunteering aren’t things, or even films—they are the experiences you have and the people you meet.

WHAT VOLUNTEER POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

Greeters: Will welcome attendees and provide directions to where they need to go along with taking patrons temperatures as they enter the venue.

Line Attendants/Scanners: Responsibilities may include organizing guests into appropriate lines or scanning guests’ tickets.

Parking Attendants: Parking attendants are needed to give our attendees directions to parking lots and spaces that are specifically available to festival attendees. Please wear weather appropriate clothing as Atlanta’s weather can be unpredictable.

Theater Attendants: Will be stationed outside of the theater doors to guide attendees to their designated seats and answer any questions from attendees.

Venue Captains: Captains serve as the supervisors to the volunteers of each department and venue. They will be responsible for tracking the arrival and departure of each volunteer during the festival, assisting the venue managers to set up and break down each venue, assisting with Covid-19 safety protocols and much more. Captains will be required to take additional training prior to the festival. They will also be required to work a minimum of 4-5 shifts (does not have to be consecutive) and will be expected to embrace additional responsibilities and time commitments to complete their roles.

Volunteer positions are subject to change, so please be flexible!
