Thank you for your interest in helping Gwinnett’s Children Shelter. Volunteers assist in providing supervision of the children while their mothers are in weekly life skills classes. We have Life Skills and Kids Club every Wednesday night and we use volunteers. Kids Club is from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and can involve activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, and playing games.
Anyone wanting to volunteer on campus has to be 18 years or older. All volunteers must fill out a volunteer application and pass a background check to volunteer directly with the children and moms. Volunteers have to also complete an online orientation course at: https://rise.articulate.com/share/QeSP4O59uEphPnlyzY5VHX0D0Wa6cpS5. Then volunteers will be emailed monthly about signing up for Kids Club.
Sign-up to volunteer at https://homeofhopegcs.org/volunteer/.
Gwinnett Chamber facilities will be under renovation.
