These children often face food insecurity when school is not in session\, missing out on the consistent breakfast and lunch they typically receive during the academic year. Sadly\, food insecurity can increase a child’s vulnerability to exploitation\, as traffickers sometimes use basic needs—like food—as a tool for manipulation. \nThis hands-on service opportunity reflects GYP’s commitment to creating real impact in our community. By helping pack and deliver lunches\, we hope not only to meet an immediate need but also to raise awareness about the often-overlooked issue of child hunger in Gwinnett. Many of these families live just miles away from our homes and offices. This is a chance to show up\, support\, and make a tangible difference. \nProject Kids Eat is an outreach of Campus Church\, located at 1525 Indian Trail Road.
