DESCRIPTION:GYP Impact is gearing together to volunteer at National Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s “Fashion Funds the Cure” Fashion Show! \nNational Pediatric Cancer Foundation (NPCF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding research to eliminate childhood cancer. For almost two decades\, Fashion Funds the Cure has been delighting audiences and giving children battling cancer the experience of a lifetime on the runway while raising critical funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research. DESCRIPTION:GYP Impact is gearing together to volunteer at Because One Matters’s 2nd annual Splash & Dash 5K Color Run! LIMITED SPACE – REGISTER BY JULY 13\, 2024 TO GUARANTEE YOUR SPOT! \nLast year\, BOM had over 150 runners\, and this year promises to be even bigger and better. The 5k\, held at the Coolray Field in Lawrenceville\, will also have festivities\, music\, engaging games\, food\, and free raffle drawings. Our mission with this GYP Impact event is to support Because One Matters as they positively influence the trajectory of children & young adults impacted by foster care and economic disparities.This will be a fun day full of community\, fitness\, and fundraising! \nThere will be three shifts\, as some volunteers may want to participate in the activities. \n\n1st shift volunteers will assist with race setup and manage the registration table. (7 am – 10 am)\n2nd shift volunteers will man color stations\, splashing runners with bursts of color\, and some will manage water stations. (8 am-12 pm)\n3rd shift volunteers will focus on assisting with vendor booths\, and raffle table on post-race cleanup.
