Around the World in the DTL

We're so excited to be back in Lawrenceville for the 4th year in a row! There will be over 80 vendors representing cultures from around the world and 20+ performances!

This event is FREE to attend and all are welcome! We are seeking volunteers in a variety of capacities! All volunteers receive free food and training, as well as a commemorative event shirt!

E100 Ultimate Fitness Challenge

Get ready for a day of fitness, fun, and fantastic vibes at Tribble Mill Park on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 8 AM to 4 PM!

Join us for an adrenaline-pumping extravaganza that's sure to get your heart racing and your spirits soaring! Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just looking for a good time, we've got something for everyone!

5K|10K|1-Mile|Fitness Boot Camp | Field Day

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! Here are a few details to help you prepare:

Dress Code: Please wear a plain gray t-shirt to ensure a uniform appearance among all volunteers.
Refreshments: Snacks and drinks will be provided to keep you energized throughout your volunteer shift.

Position Descriptions
Water Station: Ensure runners stay hydrated by handing out water at designated stations along the racecourse.
Course Monitor: Direct and encourage runners along the race route, ensuring they stay on track and follow the course.
First Aid: Provide basic medical assistance and support to runners in need throughout the event.
Packet Pickup: Distribute race packets, including bibs and other materials, to participants before the race starts.
General Cleanup Crew: Help maintain a clean and safe environment by picking up trash and managing waste disposal.

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your selected shift.

10th Anniversary of the September 18th HWPL World Peace Summit: Promises in Progress Pathways to a Peace State Gala

Be a catalyst for change at our Peace Gala! Join us for an unforgettable evening dedicated to expanding conflict resolution programs in Metro Atlanta schools. Your presence will help shape a more harmonious future for our youth. This gala night will feature:
Food and beverages
Performances and engaging speakers
Networking opportunities
In attendance will be like-minded individuals and leaders concerned about pressing issues such as community violence, education, gun violence, and global conflicts.

Guide a small group of Gwinnett students @ Junior Achievement!

At JA, we teach kids in a fun way how to make and spend money wisely with two simulation programs: JA BizTown & JA Finance Park. Join the fold by volunteering to share your life experiences with Gwinnett middle schoolers as they go through our programs!

We impact over 25,000+ Gwinnett County middle school students per year, with 3,000+ volunteers at the Gwinnett JA Discovery Center!

Cops & Cones

Volunteers will arrive to Cops and Cones to assist the Events Team in various activities such as, but not limited to, load-in, check-in assistance, beautification, sanitization, and much more. Please join us this year, as we are in search of incredible volunteers to ensure a successful event in our community. Volunteers will receive T-shirts for their assistance, but sizes are limited.

Volunteers must be registered in order to volunteer!

Pedal Norcross

Pedal Norcross is an opportunity for attendees of all ages and skills levels to get to explore Norcross on a 4.1 mile group ride led by Sustainable Norcross Commission leaders all while promoting safe and sustainable biking practices. The event will take place on Saturday, October 19 from 3:00pm - 6:00pm in Downtown Norcross kickstarting at Norcross City Hall (65 Lawrenceville St).

BOO Fest
