What are GYP Impact Events?
These community engagement programs are avenues for young adults to utilize their sphere of influence to positively impact others. GYP partners with different non-profit organizations to rally young professionals around different service projects in our community.
GYP Impact – Read Across America | Event Details
In honor of Read Across America week, we will be recording videos of ourselves reading children’s books and we will be sharing these videos with various elementary school teachers in Gwinnett so that they can play the videos for the students in their classes! Join us as we make an #impact on children’s literacy!
Once you register for the event, you will be given instructions regarding what books are recommended to read and how to record a video of yourself reading. You will then send us your video which will be played for one of our various Gwinnett County elementary school classes during Read Across America Week (March 1-4).
The deadline to create and submit your video is February 25.
