David currently serves as vice president of economic development at Gwinnett Technical College, one of the largest and fastest-growing colleges within the Technical College System of Georgia. He oversees the college’s external outreach and economic development efforts, including continuing education and corporate training, and career services. Previous positions held by David at the college have included vice president of recruitment and marketing, vice president of student services, along with interim roles as vice president of institutional advancement and vice president of academic affairs.
David came to Gwinnett Tech in 2003, after serving for over 12 years in senior administrator positions at National-Louis University, a private university based in Chicago with eight satellite campuses nationwide. Previous to higher education, he worked for almost 10 years in commercial and residential property management.
David is a graduate of Creighton University and the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. He is also a graduate of leadership programs conducted by the Gwinnett and the Greater North Fulton Chambers of Commerce, and serves on a host of committees for both chambers. David also serves as an advisory board member for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta-Gwinnett Center and is a charter member of the Rotary Gwinnett Mosaic Club in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
