Love Your City Norcross (Video)- This is our community development program every Saturday from 11:00 AM until 2:30 PM in Norcross. Here we engage this apartment community (98% Latino immigrants) by connecting neighbors and addressing community needs as we see them arise. We currently hold weekly ESL classes for adults in the community, weekly tutoring for young people, and an ongoing apprenticeship program that connects seniors to trade schools. Volunteers are invited to participate as tutors, teachers, and mentors or on our walkthrough routes, where we connect with each family to see how they’re doing.
