Organize Duffle Bags for Children Impacted by Foster Care

We’re looking for a few caring and detail-oriented volunteers to help us sort through 85 duffle bags recently donated to Because One Matters. Each bag is filled with essential toiletries, and we need your help to ensure they’re ready to be distributed to children and teens impacted by foster care.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Review and sort: Volunteers will go through each duffle bag to confirm the items inside are appropriate for a specific age group (ranging from toddlers to teens).
• Adjust as needed: If any items are missing or not age-appropriate, volunteers will help swap
• Label bags: Once finalized, each duffle bag will be clearly labeled with the correct age group so that they’re ready for distribution.
• Final check: Volunteers will help ensure each bag is neatly packed, zipped, and ready to go.

This is a hands-on opportunity that directly impacts the comfort and dignity of children entering foster care. Every bag you help prepare is a reminder to a child that they matter and are not forgotten.
