Velocity Mentoring Program

Velocity is a life-changing, cross-age mentoring program that develops high school students to mentor middle school students. Velocity equips high schoolers with interpersonal and leadership tools that makes them great mentors, as well as helps develop their family and school relationships. The program gives middle school students a dedicated mentor to walk through middle school with them and help develop them as a person. Nearly 1000 students go through the program across the world, and of these students, 100% have gone on to graduate high school and 95% go on to college.
As a volunteer with Velocity, you will not only develop great leadership and teamwork skills by helping run the program, but you will also mentor a high school student as they mentor a middle school student, which leads to double impact in young people’s lives.
You can join any of our Velocity teams: Tuesdays in Duluth, Wednesdays in Lilburn, or Thursdays in Lawrenceville. Each program day happens from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
