Gwinnett Young Professionals (GYP) hosted its third annual ‘TheYParty 35-Under-35 Awards’ naming thirty-four (34) winners and one ‘young professional of the year’ as it celebrated the next generation of business leaders. An initiative of the Gwinnett Chamber, GYP champions young professionals through opportunities to connect, grow, and make an impact.

“GYP would like to congratulate this year’s winners on being recognized for the impact they are making in our community,” said Melissa Ramirez, Manager, GYP. “These individuals are leaders, change agents, and champions for each other and for the future of Gwinnett’s leadership. We are honored to celebrate them through this program and look forward to seeing them grow in the future. We are also grateful to all the sponsors who helped make this event possible.”

Kevin Jones with Oconee State Bank received the most notable honor of the evening as the 2023 Gwinnett Young Professional of the Year.

Nearly two hundred individuals attended the event to honor these up-and-comers. TheYParty also partnered with the P4 Foundation and the Make-A-Wish Foundation to raise funds and grant a wish for “Landon”, an eleven-year-old child battling cancer. They announced a total of $5,000 in support of this cause just prior to the conclusion of the evening.

Gwinnett Chamber facilities will be under renovation.
