During this event, we volunteered at Junior Achievement’s Discovery Center in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Every year more than 25,000 middle school students from Gwinnett County Public Schools have the opportunity to take part in JA BizTown and JA Finance Park. Located on the campus of Discovery High School in Lawrenceville, the high-impact education center allows middle school students to experience learning like never before. Following a series of in-class lessons, the JA Discovery Center brings education to life and provides students with an immersive learning experience that gives them a glimpse of what their futures can entail. About GYP
Established in 2015, Gwinnett Young Professionals (GYP) was created by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce as an initiative to champion young professionals. We envision GYP to be the leading advocate and innovative resource for young professionals to connect, grow, and make an impact. GYP is designed for individuals, ages 21 to 35, who are living and/or working in Gwinnett. There are no membership fees/dues to participate. Getting involved with GYP is as simple as attending an event!
